Election Day is November 5

Registered voters will receive ballots in the mail starting on or about Sept. 23. Early voting at Town offices during regular business hours starts the week of Sept. 23.
Check your registration to ensure proper delivery, or register online, at the Sec. of State’s My Voter webpage.
You can also register at your Town Clerk’s office anytime.

Within 10 days of Election Day, do not mail absentee/early ballots! Bring directly to the Town office by the last office day prior to the election, or deposit at the polls on November 5.

Meet Esther Charlestin,
candidate for Vermont Governor.

And ask, Why does current Gov. Scott veto so many bills
instead of working with the Legislature?

Who is Kamala Harris?
See her acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention, August 22.

Michelle Obama’s electrifying speech, Aug. 20.

Tim Walz’s acceptance speech, Aug. 21.

Oprah Winfrey, also a great speech, Aug. 21.

Caledonia-Essex District (Cal-Esx)

If you live in in St. Johnsbury, Concord or Kirby, I am one of your two State Representatives.
Frank Empsall is running for the other open seat.

(And by the way, St. Johnsbury and Kirby are in the Caledonia Senate district, where Amanda Cochrane is running to replace long-time Senator Jane Kitchel who is retiring.
Concord is in the Essex Senate district; there is no Democratic candidate opposing incumbent Sen. Russ Ingalls.)
